Radley London

Sook store in St James Quarter Edinburgh displaying handbags during Radley's take over of the space

Sook’s modular retail spaces are a low-risk, low-commitment solution for brands to test new physical environments across the UK.

British heritage brand Radley London piloted a three-month space in Sook St James Quarter in Edinburgh, bringing its iconic leather bags and accessories to a new market.

The key focus was on sales but demographics, footfall and sales data were collected, analysed and compiled into a custom insights report throughout the pilot. The pop up also resulted in PR coverage for the brand in the local market.

The space featured all the brand's new bag collections, footwear and other accessories, and was designed with a library/curiosity shop feel, with oversized hardback books, golden stag beetles and glass cloches.

“We know what a loyal customer base we have in Scotland, so we jumped at the chance to launch a Radley London pop-up store in Edinburgh. The shop was perfectly located and we were excited to be trading in such a prestigious retail space."

Kevin Morris, Head of Retail, Radley London

Following its Sook pop up, Radley announced a 60% increase in sales for the year, following on from pandemic-enforced store closures which drove a 34% decline in sales in the year to April 25th 2021.
