Meet the Neighbours
Sook Birmingham is located on Link Street, the route connecting the Bullring with Grand Central. This distinctly individual shopping destination is packed with a mix of fresh and unique pop-up shops and restaurants that cannot be found elsewhere, with the neighbours including Trapstar, TK Maxx, and Driftroom.
Best place for a morning coffee
Cafe Nero is next door to the space! Other than that, I recommend Second Cup Coffee Company on New Street.
Favourite place to go for lunch
Tsukiji just outside New Street station. The best Japanese food in Birmingham!
Tastiest place to grab a snack
Slims Chicken, @pizza, and Joe & The Juice - all of which are a two-minute walk through Link Street.
Coolest place to pick up a last-minute gift
Smithsonia at 5-9 Piccadilly Arcade is really worth a visit.
Boujiest options for after-work drinks
The Alchemist, Henman & Cooper Bar And Rooftop, The Gentleman & Scholar Pub and Terrace - all are tried-and-tested locations!
Local landmarks
Gas Street Basin: a whole load of bars and restaurants along the canal, which are a short walk along the canal from City Centre.
Birmingham Cathedral and St. Martin in the Bull Ring are two of the oldest buildings in Birmingham and well worth a visit.
The Old Crown on the High Street is one of the oldest pubs in the UK! Still going strong from the 1300’s
Insider’s top tip
If you need to pick up anything, check out the Rag Market, right next to the Bullring. They have everything you can think of for a good price!
