The influence of esteemed British-Iraqi architect, artist and designer Dame Zaha Hadid is celebrated in her eponymous homeware collection, coming to Sook 42 South Molton Street - in the heart of Mayfair - on 28th and 29th November.
Exploring nuances of late 20th and early 21st century design, this curated selection of lifestyle objects strikes a balance between surrealist shapes and functional forms, all threaded with Hadid’s curious spirit and contemporary eye. Cast from traditional bone china, acrylic and smoky glass, the line presents candles, glassware and other tabletop staples – alongside an impressive chess set – that are certain to be a stylish focal point in any living space.
The event at Sook Mayfair will be a sample sale of these objects, and an opportunity to immerse yourself in the design world of Zaha Hadid, with the Sook digital screens telling the story of the collection and the designer who created them.
